Needed software
1. StarCraft and the Offical
Expansion Set Brood War. You need Brood War
because
I'm not sure if the files work in StarCraft Retail
because I tested/made them for
Brood
War!
2. WinZip or a similar tool to uncompress ZIP
archives. For Winzip, go to
http://www.winzip.com to get a shareware copy of it!
3. To use the CWAD files, you need StarDraft
from Camelot
Systems.
If you don't know how to use these files, download SDTutor
at the same website!
4. For ASC and IAF files,
you need the AI editors from the Offical
SCAIEdit WebSite.
The ASC file
is the script file for SCAIEdit I, the IAF
file is the format for SCAIEdit II.
CWADs can only be used with StarDraft,
I won't offer self-executable CWADs to
download!
The further using
instructions weren't removed from old files, but future files
won't have
them (like the IAF download)!
This information is just for
you to know if the files will work with your StarCraft/Brood
War,
StarDraft or SCAIEdit version:
ASC: All ASC files are
from SCAIEdit I version 0.79 (latest
version).
ASC2: All ASC2 files have
been converted by my ASC to ASC2 converter
and are fully
readable in SCAIEdit II pre-release II.
(IAF: All IAF files were
created using SCAIEdit II pre-release II.)
CWAD: All CWAD files were
made for
StarDraft
for StarCraft/Brood War 1.05.
